This page provides a guide for the license of the photographs for both commercial use and non-commercial use.
For the commercial use of my photos, please use the 🔗 contact form to submit details about your project, include the size, placement, circulation, distribution, start date and duration. Examples of commercial use include: company web pages, product labels, books, merchandise, magazines, most apps, and educational products. License fees vary depending on the use, but generally fall between $40 and $400 per image, the average license fee is $95 per image. Discount and batch license might be provided according to the usage of photos.
A registered non-profit organization might be able to use my work at discounted license fees or free of charge, depending on the context of use. Contact me for an estimate; prior permission is required.
Educational classroom use by students, teachers, and researchers is free of license fees, and does not require prior permission as long as the use does not involve uploading images to the internet. If the project involves posting my photographs to the internet, prior permission is required.
Use of my photos in social media network (Facebook, Instagram, blogs, X (prviously know as Twitter), Pinterest, etc.) by commercial entities is the same as “Commercial Use” defined aboveand requires a licensing agreement.
Unauthorized commercial infringements of any of my copyrighted images will be met with invoices covering regular commercial-use fees plus a $150 infringement handling fee per image. Infringement invoices are non-negotiable, and non-payment of infringement invoices will result in legal action to recover statutory damage as outlined in 🔗 Title 17, § 504, of the United States copyright laws. Under 17 U.S.C. 504, the consequences of copyright infringement includes statutory damages up to $150,000 per image. If you continue to engage in copyright infringement after receiving this letter, your actions will be evidence of “willful infringement”.
Unauthorized non-commercial uses of copyrighted images are subject to DMCA takedown requests without advance notice.
